Rexel UK is seeking an Area Branch Manager based at the Bristol Kingsland Branch, leading multiple branches within the South West Cluster. You will drive growth, lead teams, and build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to improve profitability and service quality.

The role focuses on strategic planning, performance monitoring, and cross-branch collaboration to share best practices and sustain high morale across the cluster.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the Area to drive growth and performance.
• Monitor and drive sales performance across branches to meet targets.
• Manage P&L OPEX across branches for efficient operations.
• Lead team development and leadership initiatives across branches.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
• Oversee stock management and forecasting to minimize excess inventory.
• Drive colleague engagement through coaching and support.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide development opportunities.
• Foster cross-branch collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Analyse market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities.
• Implement and monitor KPIs aligned with business objectives.

Job Description

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the Area to drive overall business growth and performance.


• Monitor and drive sales performance across branches, ensuring sales and contribution targets are met.


• Manage P&L OPEX across branches to optimize financial performance and ensure cost-effective operations.


• Lead team development and leadership initiatives across branches, fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and high performance.


• Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.


• Oversee stock management across branches, ensuring availability and minimizing excess inventory through effective forecasting and planning.


• Drive colleague engagement through effective coaching and support, promoting a positive work environment and high morale.


• Conduct regular performance reviews and assessments of branch teams, providing feedback and development opportunities.


• Facilitate cross-branch collaboration and knowledge sharing to leverage best practices and drive continuous improvement.


• Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and strategic positioning within the cluster.


• Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for each branch, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
