Job summary

Rexel UK Ltd. invites applications for an Area Branch Manager to lead our Derby cluster, overseeing a diverse mix of eight branches and reporting to the Regional Head of Sales. You will drive strategic growth across the Midlands region, optimise branch performance, and foster strong customer relationships.

The role focuses on developing leadership, managing P&L across branches, and delivering sustained business results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the Area to drive overall business growth and performance.
• Monitor and drive sales performance across branches, ensuring sales and contribution targets are met.
• Manage P&L OPEX across branches to optimise financial performance and drive cost-effective operations.
• Lead team development and leadership initiatives across branches, fostering growth and high performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders to enhance satisfaction and retention.
• Oversee stock management across branches, ensuring availability and forecasting accuracy.
• Drive colleague engagement through coaching and support to maintain high morale.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide development opportunities.
• Facilitate cross-branch collaboration and knowledge sharing for best practices.
• Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Track KPIs for each branch aligned with business objectives.

• Oversee stock management across branches, ensuring availability and minimizing excess inventory through effective forecasting and planning.
• Drive colleague engagement through effective coaching and support, promoting a positive work environment and high morale.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and assessments of branch teams, providing feedback and development opportunities.
• Facilitate cross-branch collaboration and knowledge sharing to leverage best practices and drive continuous improvement.
• Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and strategic positioning within the cluster.
• Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for each branch, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
