Area Account Manager - Retail Supplies & Equipment. Location: Brentwood, Essex | Hybrid / Field-Based. Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 basic + Commission. Are you an experienced sales professional with a passion for retail and visual merchandising? We're working with a leading UK supplier of retail equipment and display solutions, seeking a proactive Area Account Manager to manage and grow accounts across the South East. With over 175 years of industry expertise, this company is a trusted partner to thousands of retailers, designers, and shopfitters. They supply everything from mannequins, hangers, and display units to packaging, point-of-sale materials, and bespoke visual merchandising solutions — supporting some of the biggest names in fashion and retail.

The Role

As an Area Account Manager, you'll be responsible for nurturing existing client relationships while identifying new business opportunities within your region. You'll act as a trusted advisor, helping customers find tailored retail display and operational solutions that enhance their store performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of retail and commercial clients across your area.
  • Identify new business opportunities and proactively drive sales.
  • Provide expert advice on product ranges, solutions, and bespoke options.
  • Conduct regular client visits to build relationships and understand customer needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional service and delivery.

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within your area.
