Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group in London is seeking an Archivist to support the full archive lifecycle, preserving and making accessible the history and heritage of the organisation. You will join the Group Archives & Museum team, working with physical and digital records.

The role covers collections management, digitisation and digital preservation, responding to enquiries, and collaborating with colleagues across the business on archive and museum projects.

Responsibilities

• Appraise, accession and catalogue archive collections using our archives management systems.
• Ingest digital records into our digital preservation repository and support digitisation projects.
• Respond to historical enquiries and support visiting researchers.
• Undertake collections care and facilities management activities, including environmental monitoring and preservation tasks.
• Work with colleagues across the business and contribute to archive and museum projects as required.
