Job summary

Labcorp is seeking an Archive Officer to join our Sample Management and Archives team at our Harrogate, North Yorkshire site. The role covers labelling, receipt, transferring, tracking and archival tasks for samples and materials, with strict confidentiality and data integrity.

This is a 37-hour week position requiring careful attention to detail. You will work both independently and as part of a team, using tracking systems and following procedures to ensure accurate documentation and timely

Qualifications

• National level of education (GCSE) in Science, Math and English.
• Ability to work in a team and independently is required.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Labeling, receipt, transferring, tracking, inventory, archival, shipping and disposal of samples and materials.
• Sample accession tasks including box opening, inventory/labeling, receipt/store, pulls/returns.
• Using tracking systems to maintain sample and study integrity.
• Interpreting procedures and client paperwork for accurate documentation.
• Documenting discrepancies and assisting with problem solving.
• Maintaining client and business confidentiality.
• Maintaining storage units.
• Following security procedures to protect data and sample integrity.

Labcorp is seeking an Archive Officer to join our Sample Management and Archives department at our site in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.

Work Schedule: 37 hours per week

Job Responsibilities

• Performing any combination of sample management and/or archive tasks, including labelling, receipt, transferring, tracking, inventory, archival, shipping, and disposal of samples and/or materials
• Sample accession core tasks, including box opening, inventory/labeling, receipt/store, and pulls/returns
• Using tracking systems as appropriate to maintain sample and study integrity
• Accurate protocol and relevant documentation interpretation (i.e., Sample Analysis Outline, client paperwork)
• Documenting and communicating discrepancies to appropriate personnel, and assists with problem solving
• Maintaining client and business confidentiality.
• Maintaining storage units
• Ensuring company procedures are followed in relation to security and access to relevant areas and data or sample integrity

Minimum Qualifications

• National level of education (c / 4 or above) in Science, Math and English GCSE
