Job description

Place is hiring an architecture and design recruitment consultant to join its team in London.

We are seeking a passionate and motivated recruitment consultant to join our London-based team during an exciting period of growth. Place is a highly respected consultancy operating at the heart of the London and international built environment, known for its engaging, thoughtful and people-focused approach.

For over two decades, we have built lasting partnerships with a diverse range of clients, including architects, developers, investors, communications agencies, arts and cultural institutions and technology companies. Our success is rooted in long‑term relationships, a strong referrals network and a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional service to both clients and candidates.

As a consultant at Place, you will join an experienced and collaborative team working from our central London studio in Soho. This role would suit a driven, personable and committed individual, ideally with prior experience or a strong interest in the built environment industry. A genuine interest in the built environment and an understanding of the design professions would be highly valued.

You will benefit from an established network of high-quality clients and contacts, supported by our trusted reputation and referral‑led business model.

We are committed to supporting your professional development and offer further training, guidance and autonomy to help you build a successful and rewarding career with us.

If you are passionate about people, relationships and the built environment, we would welcome the opportunity to speak with you.

A Part 1 qualification in architecture, or a comparable educational or professional background in architecture, design or a related discipline, is highly desirable.

Please note, this role is fully on site and based in Soho, Central London.
