Job description

Job Description:

J.A.S Atelier, a boutique, female-led sustainability and design studio, is seeking a freelance Architectural Visualiser to bring 3–4 conceptual, sensory case studies to life for the Radical Alchemy Report, a visionary spatial futures document launching in May.

This is not a traditional rendering brief. We are looking for an artist who:

  • Thinks in layers, texture, and atmosphere

  • Visualises emotion, story, and energy, not just objects

  • Works across mixed media: collage, AI-aided, hand-drawn, or stylised rendering

  • Is inspired by spatial mysticism, sustainable futures, and cultural storytelling

Project Scope:

  • Visualise 3–4 built environment case studies (for example: Barbican Centre, regenerative hospitality spaces)

  • Create 1–2 visuals per study

  • Deliver high-resolution stills for digital and print use

  • Visual tone should be editorial, poetic, and rooted in sacred ecology

Timeline:

  • Briefing and style alignment by May 3

  • Final delivery by May 10–12

Compensation:

  • Compensation: £800–£1,200 GBP (or equivalent in your local currency, flexible depending on style and experience)

  • 50 percent paid upon contract start, 50 percent upon final delivery
