A recruitment agency is seeking a skilled Senior/Architectural Technologist in Lancashire to deliver high-quality solutions in commercial architecture. The ideal candidate will have experience in education, industrial, or science sectors and proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. Responsibilities include producing technical drawings and overseeing project compliance with regulations. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
My Client are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior/Architectural Technologist with a strong background in commercial architecture, ideally within the education, industrial, or science and research sectors.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively within our design and technical teams to deliver high-quality, technically sound solutions from concept through to construction.
Develop and produce detailed technical drawings and specifications using Revit and/or AutoCAD.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure designs meet client briefs, budgets, and statutory requirements.
Lead the preparation of construction packages and oversee coordination of technical information.
Ensure compliance with current building regulations, codes of practice, and health and safety standards.
Assist in managing project timelines, deliverables, and resource planning.
Liaise with contractors and attend site inspections to monitor project progress and quality.
Contribute to the technical design stages of RIBA Plan of Work, from Stage 3 onwards.
Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in commercial architecture.
Proven experience delivering projects in sectors such as education, industrial, or science and research is highly desirable.
Strong working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant design and BIM software.
Excellent understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction standards.
Strong detailing, documentation, and coordination skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
