Job summary

TODD Architects Ltd. is seeking a qualified Architectural Technologist to join our Manchester studio. You will support the technical delivery of healthcare and multi-sector projects, coordinate design packages, and ensure BIM/Revit compliance across all stages.

With 5+ years of post-qualification experience, you will work with planning, tender and construction documentation, apply UK Building Regulations and BC(A)R, and collaborate across teams in a dynamic, studio environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Architectural Technologist (MCAT or eligible for membership).
• 5+ years post-qualification experience.
• Proficiency in Revit is essential.
• Ability to create 1:200 layout and 1:50 loaded room deliverables.
• Sound knowledge of UK Building Regulations, Statutory Consents, and BC(A)R.
• Experience preparing planning applications, tender and construction packages.
• Familiarity with NBS specification and BIM standards.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong detailing and construction knowledge.
• Must be currently based in the UK with the right to work.

Key Areas of Responsibility

With a growing presence across the UK and Ireland, we are looking to appoint a qualified Technologist to support our team and it's expanding portfolio of projects throughout the UK & Ireland.

Based in our Manchester studio you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of sectors and RIBA stages, ensuring ongoing professional development in a dynamic and supportive environment.
