Architectural Technologist

Location: Preston

Salary: £40-46,000 (dependent on experience)

A well-established and design-led architectural practice is seeking a talented and motivated Architectural Technologist to join their dynamic team in Preston. With a rich heritage and a diverse portfolio, the practice is renowned for delivering technically accomplished and thoughtful architecture across the education, healthcare, conservation, and commercial sectors.

Responsibilities:
* Lead and support the production of technical design and construction information across all RIBA stages
* Prepare detailed working drawings, specifications, and schedules
* Coordinate design input from consultants and manage information flow
* Conduct site visits, monitor works, and support contract administration
* Contribute to planning submissions, feasibility studies, and technical reports

Requirements:
* Degree-qualified Architectural Technologist with relevant UK industry experience
* Proven technical expertise, particularly in the education or healthcare sectors
* Proficiency in Revit is essential; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous
* Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction processes
* Excellent communication, coordination, and organisational skills
* A collaborative and proactive approach to project delivery
