We are seeking to appoint a Senior Architectural Technologist to join our Nottingham office. You'll be part of a welcoming, design-oriented team working in a modern, well-equipped workspace.

As a Senior Architectural Technologist you will be responsible for leading a design team on project delivery through all stages of a project. You will communicate directly with the client and the entire project team, across an array of sectors to include healthcare, education, residential and leisure. You should have excellent design and technical skills and all-round project knowledge.

Your Core Responsibilities Will Include

  • Leading and delivering a variety of projects, from small to large, in different sectors, through all stages of a project.
  • Working alongside the project director to produce, manage and control the project brief, fees, costs, programme, and deliverables.
  • Leading the design, detailing, specification, and coordination of projects from inception to completion.
  • Communicating with the client and all members of the project team at all times.
  • Organising and chair all necessary meetings and project reviews.
  • Working in a multi discipline environment.
  • Keeping the project director informed at all times.
  • Fully support and manage the architectural teams assigned to your projects.
  • Ensuring the team understand and comply with all relevant legislation related to the project.

About You

Our ideal Senior Architectural Technologist will have:

  • Degree in Architectural Technology BSc(Hons) or a relevant HNC/HND qualification or working towards MCIAT membership.
  • Proficient using Revit.
  • Relevant experience within a similar role/leading a technical team.
  • Excellent technical knowledge.
  • Experience using NBS Chorus.
  • NEC and JCT contract awareness.
  • Proven leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and supporting junior team members.
