Job Title: Architectural Technologist

We are seeking an Architectural Technologist to join a multi-disciplinary, award-winning Architectural Practice based in Guildford. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career within an ambitious team working on high-end Office, Retail, and Commercial projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Contribute to planning applications and other regulatory procedures.
2. Identify necessary surveys before work begins, ensure they are completed, and incorporate results into the project.
3. Collaborate with senior staff members.
4. Work on bespoke high-end Office, Retail, and Commercial projects across all RIBA stages.
5. Produce detailed technical construction information.
6. Prepare and develop drawings, models, images, and related documents.
7. Report project progress to directors.
8. Prepare and present design proposals using AutoCAD/Revit and traditional methods.
9. Liaise with authorities for statutory approval documentation.

Requirements:

• Living within a commutable distance of Guildford.
• Proficient in Revit & AutoCAD.
• Motivated team player.
• Experience in the Commercial or Retail sectors (advantageous).
• Knowledge of Building Regulations and the Planning Permission Process.
• Well-rounded experience within the Architectural & Construction Industry.
• Minimum of 3 years' professional UK practice experience.
• Ability to demonstrate involvement in a project through all RIBA stages.
• Confidence in working through detailed, technical, and delivery stages of projects.
• Technically minded with a good eye for bespoke detailing.
