Job summary

Konker in Cambridge is seeking an Architectural Technologist to join a growing UK-wide construction consultancy. You will work with architects, engineers, surveyors and project managers, delivering design information from concept to construction.

The role focuses on technical delivery, coordinating construction information, material specifications (NBS Chorus), ensuring Building Regulations compliance, and serving as a technical backbone on live projects, with flexible working and a strong CPD

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of technical design and the UK construction process.
• Proactive CPD and adherence to CIAT Code of Conduct.
• Sector experience across education, civic, commercial, heritage, industrial, or sports & leisure would be useful.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate design, production and construction information.
• Produce and advise on material selection, specifications (NBS Chorus), and detailed design solutions.
• Ensure projects meet current Building Regulations, standards, and health and safety requirements.
