Job summary

A leading multi-disciplinary consultant is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to create detailed technical drawings and work on exciting education projects. The role offers flexible working arrangements, with a minimum of 1 day per week in the Birmingham, Leeds, or Hemel Hempstead offices. The ideal candidate will have extensive Revit experience, strong knowledge of UK building regulations, and good communication skills. Qualifications

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for a skilled Architectural Technologist to join a leading multi-disciplinary consultant. Our client is offering a flexible working arrangement, minimum 1 day per week in either of the following offices: Birmingham, Leeds or hybrid position, with 1-2 days per week from our clients Hemel Hempstead, Birmingham, Hertfordshire.

This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting education projects, with a motivating and experienced team.

Key Responsibilities:

-Create detailed technical drawings and specifications using Revit/BIM.

-Support project delivery at all stages of design and construction.

-Work closely with architects, engineers, and consultants to solve technical issues.

-Ensure all designs meet UK building regulations and quality standards.

-Help with planning and building control submissions.

-Take part in design meetings and offer technical input.

What we are looking for:

-Must have extensive Revit experience, and familiar with BIM workflows.

-Qualified in Architectural Technology (CIAT accreditation is a plus).

-Experience in a similar role within architecture or construction.

-Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and detailing.

-Good communication and teamwork skills.
