Location: Charing, Kent (with flexible working options)

Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP40,000 per annum

About The Company

Our client is a well-established design and build construction firm based in Kent, specialising in modern methods of construction (MMC) and sustainable building projects. They have a strong reputation for delivering high-quality commercial projects on time and within budget across the South East of England. Their in-house design team collaborates closely with professional organisations and consultants to provide cost-effective solutions for challenging projects.

Role Overview

As an Architectural Technician/Technologist, you will be integral to the design and execution of innovative, sustainable construction projects. Working across all RIBA stages, you will collaborate with the in-house team and external partners to deliver projects that meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop detailed architectural designs using AutoCAD; proficiency in Revit or ArchiCAD is advantageous.
  2. Manage projects from initial concept through to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  3. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including consultants and contractors, to integrate various aspects of design and construction.
  4. Apply knowledge of sustainable building practices and MMC to enhance project outcomes.
  5. Ensure all designs comply with relevant regulations and quality standards.
Qualifications And Experience
  1. Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
  2. Proven experience in architectural design and project management within the construction industry.
  3. Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit or ArchiCAD is preferred.
  4. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  5. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  6. Familiarity with sustainable building methods and MMC is a plus.
