Job summary

Morson Human Resources Limited seeks an experienced Architectural Technician to join a Stratford-upon-Avon practice. You will work on a diverse portfolio across residential, commercial, education and heritage sectors, producing detailed Revit drawings from planning through to construction.

You should have 3–5 years post-qualification experience, strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, and excellent communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years post-qualification experience as an Architectural Technician in a UK practice.
• Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and producing coordinated BIM models and technical drawings.
• Experience preparing planning and construction documentation.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage workload across multiple projects.
• Proactive, collaborative approach; CIAT accreditation is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed technical drawings and construction packages using Revit.
• Prepare planning, Building Regulations and tender information.
• Develop technical details and specifications in line with current UK Building Regulations.
• Assist in coordination of multidisciplinary teams, consultants and contractors.
• Support projects through all technical stages, ensuring accuracy and on-schedule delivery.
• Attend project meetings and site visits as required.
• Maintain high standards of technical accuracy across project documentation.
