A leading architectural services provider in Preston is looking for an Architectural Technician to join their Measurement and Data Capture Team. This role involves conducting high-quality measured surveys, producing accurate models, and creating architectural drawing packages across various sectors. Ideal candidates should have experience in AutoCAD and/or Revit, and a passion for professional development. Qualifications

• Experienced in producing architectural drawings and technical details using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Confident working with measured survey data, point clouds, and digital capture tools.
• Organised, methodical, and able to manage multiple tasks within a busy project environment.
• Strong communicator with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Technically curious, proactive, and motivated by continuous improvement and professional development.
• Personable and professional when dealing with clients and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Undertake measured building surveys using traditional methods, digital tools, and 3D laser scanning equipment.
• Process point cloud data and convert outputs into accurate 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Produce existing and proposed architectural layouts, elevations, sections, and technical details.
• Prepare Building Regulations drawings and support the submission of statutory applications.
• Ensure all survey outputs and drawing packages meet technical standards.
