Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is assisting a Darlington practice to recruit an Architectural Technician or Architectural Technologist who can run projects from tender through to completion.

The role offers a salary of £40,000–£50,000 with hybrid/flexible working, Early Finish Friday, and progression across healthcare, care homes, residential, student accommodation, industrial and refurbishment schemes.

Qualifications

• Architectural Technician/Technologist or experienced Architectural Assistant.
• Experience running projects from tender through to completion.
• Background in healthcare, care home, residential, or similar projects.
• Revit experience and commutable to Darlington.

Overview

Architectural Technician or Architectural Technologist role in Darlington with a salary of £40,000 - £50,000 plus Hybrid/Flexible Working, Early Finish Friday, progression, and bonus. The practice delivers a range of projects across the North East, including healthcare, care homes, residential, student accommodation, industrial, refurbishments, extensions, and bespoke new-build schemes.

Responsibilities

• Run projects from tender through to completion.
• Produce and coordinate technical drawings, construction details, schedules, and specifications using CAD and Revit.
• Coordinate with project teams, review contractor information, and resolve technical queries.
• Take ownership of projects from tender stage through to completion and ensure designs meet technical, regulatory, and building standards.
