Job description

Architectural Technician

Location: Sheffield

Salary: GBP27-GBP35,000

Reference: SFSHE36

A well-established multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking an experienced Architectural Technician to join its dynamic team in Sheffield. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, healthcare, and education.

Your main responsibilities will include:
  1. Produce high-quality technical drawings, specifications, and construction details
  2. Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and other consultants to develop detailed design solutions
  3. Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and industry standards
  4. Assist in the coordination of project information using BIM methodologies
  5. Liaise with clients, contractors, and local authorities as required

Requirements for the role of Architectural Technician:
  1. A degree or HNC/HND in Architectural Technology
  2. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential
  3. Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and technical standards
  4. Experience working on projects across RIBA Stages 3-5
  5. Excellent communication and organisational skills
