Architectural Technician (Domestic / Commercial Works)

Are you an architectural technician, that is proficient in AutoCAD, looking to join a well-established practice, which operates nationwide and offers an enhanced holiday package and progression?

Are you looking to be in a role that covers more than the initial design concepts and will see you project coordinating, liaising with clients and principal contractors to ensure the smooth delivery of projects, which offers excellent training and a Christmas shutdown?

This company was established over three decades ago and since then has grown to be taking on projects from Cornwall to Scotland. The company take on both new build projects, for domestic houses, office buildings and student accommodation and smaller scale projects like domestic extensions.

In this role the suitable candidate will be expected to be involved in the initial design process of projects and be responsible for conforming with all industry regulations. You must maintain an efficient desk as you could be working on upwards of fifteen projects simultaneously.

The Role:

• 9 - 5:30 Monday - Friday
• Attend design meetings and reviews with the directors to ensure all projects are being completed at a timely pace
• Maintain an efficient desk as you could be working on upwards of fifteen projects simultaneously
• Create initial designs and constantly edit existing to ensure the highest quality is met on projects
• Be vigilant of all quality standards that must be met on projects, as you will be working jobs in a variety of sectors
• Occasionally visit client sites to conduct initial surveys and work alongside other departments to ensure the successful completion of projects

• Part II Qualified
• Proficient in AutoCAD
