The Architectural Technician Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Architectural Technician to join a growing Design and Technical consultancy based near Leeds city centre. The firm has a strong reputation for delivering detailed design and technical packages across a wide range of residential schemes.

You will play a key role in the preparation of site layouts, technical drawings and working drawing packages for housebuilding projects at various stages, from planning through to delivery. A keen eye for layout efficiency and compliance with UK regulations is essential.

The role offers excellent long-term prospects, exposure to a range of project types and the opportunity to work alongside experienced Design professionals within the team.

To be considered for the Architectural Technician position:

• At least 2 years' experience in a similar role within the housebuilding or residential sector
• Strong proficiency in producing layout plans and working drawings
• Excellent understanding of UK Building Regulations and NHBC standards
• Able to work collaboratively within a technical team and communicate effectively
• A background in working on volume housing or residential-led developments is highly desirable
