Job Title: Architectural Technician

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Architectural Technician to join their approachable, hands-on team. This role offers a great opportunity to work in a practice that values craft, clarity, and collaboration, across a variety of dynamic and design-conscious projects.

Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare comprehensive technical drawings and full construction packages across several RIBA stages.
  2. Use Revit and AutoCAD to deliver clear, coordinated, and precise documentation.
  3. Liaise with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
  4. Assist in preparing planning and building control applications with well-organised, accurate outputs.
  5. Attend site visits and project meetings, helping to solve technical issues as they arise.
  6. Ensure that the original design vision is maintained throughout construction.
  7. Support the team with specification development, research, and technical documentation.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Recognised qualification in Architectural Technology or an equivalent discipline.
  • Experience working on hospitality, residential, or commercial projects is a bonus.
  • Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD—this is essential.
  • Thorough knowledge of UK building regulations and strong technical detailing skills.
  • Methodical, accurate, and confident when tackling complex technical tasks.
