Architectural Technician Role in East Sussex

A busy East Sussex based firm near a well-connected train station is looking to add experienced Architectural Technicians/Technologists to their practice. This involved position involves working across notable schemes in the Hospitality, Leisure, Residential, and Commercial sectors.

You will be an integral part of the team working on design-led projects. The company prides itself on high-quality design, with all projects being partner-led and directors involved across all RIBA stages.

There is ample scope for growth within this large local firm, where you will join a project team and play a significant role from concept to completion.

To be considered, you must have comprehensive knowledge of UK building regulations. Experience with software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Vectorworks, or ArchiCAD is desirable, so please apply regardless of your specific software expertise.

Ideal skills and experience include:

• Experience in Leisure, Hospitality, Commercial, Residential schemes, or large-scale projects
• Experience working on live UK projects
• Technical detailing skills, particularly from RIBA stages 4 onwards
• Knowledge of planning, UK building regulations, and standards
• Ability to manage and coordinate with contractors and designers

Potential commuting locations include Brighton, Hove, Shoreham, Crawley, Newhaven, Lewes, Uckfield, Hassocks, Haywards Heath, Crowborough, Hastings, Eastbourne, East Grinstead, Royal Tunbridge Wells, and Tonbridge.
