Overview

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Architectural Designer or Architectural Technician to join our clients busy design team, working on a range of interesting Residential projects looking at the design process from concept through to construction.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the production of the standard housing and apartment portfolio, including preparing planning, working drawings and sales drawings packages for the housing portfolio using AutoCAD Architectural Desktop to meet Building Regulation and NHBC standards, all in accordance with the Architect's Brief and the Company's Standard Construction Details and Specification. This will include general arrangement layouts, sections, elevations, bespoke detailing, electrical plans, bathroom layouts, brochure layouts, etc.


• Liaise with nominated suppliers receiving their designs for incorporation within the drawing packages and approving their working details.


• Attending site to review product and gather feedback from sales and construction teams.


• To investigate new products and build methods to advance building sustainability.

About You

• Design based degree, Architecture, Architectural Technology etc.


• Some experience working within an Architectural Practice, House Builder or Similar environment


• Excellent AutoCAD skills


• Good knowledge of construction materials and sustainability


• Understanding of renewable technologies
