A leading architectural practice in Birmingham is looking for an experienced Architectural Technician to join their Healthcare team. Responsibilities include preparing planning drawings, producing technical specifications, and attending site meetings. Duties for the role of Architectural Technician:

  • Prepare and submit planning drawings and documentations
  • Prepare and develop planning scheme to detailed construction drawings
  • Produce technical specifications, tender, and working drawing packages
  • Ensure high quality delivery of producing drawings
  • Attend site appraisals, surveys, client meetings and site inspections
  • Undertake principal designer duties such as liaising with clients

Skills, experience, and responsibilities for the role of Architectural Technician:

  • Relevant degree within Architectural design
  • Relevant post qualification experience as a Technician within a UK practice
  • Experience working on projects within the Healthcare sector
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
  • CIAT registered would be advantageous
  • Good working knowledge of UK building regulations
  • Strong technical abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Live within a commutable distance to the Birmingham area
