Job summary

CIAP ARCHITECTS PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Resident Technical Officer (Architectural) to monitor progress, quality, safety and environmental controls on a major project. You will ensure architectural specifications are met and supervise coordination with M&E and structural teams on site.

You will produce detailed site progress reports, manage defects, and liaise with consultants and contractors. Start anticipated in Q4 2026/Q1 2027, with strong communication and integrity essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Architectural or related discipline from a recognised tertiary institution.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as RTO with supervision experience in institutional projects.
• Experience in precast façade supervision is advantageous.
• Coordination of architectural works with C&S and M&E.
• Proficient in site supervision, quality control and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to resolve site issues and prepare detailed progress reports.
• Good communication with technical personnel and site workers.
• Able to conduct site inspections and review defect documentation.
• Strong integrity, teamwork and effective communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; BIM/VDC knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor progress, quality, variations and safety on site.
• Check contractor preliminaries align with tender documents.
• Maintain updated daily records of works, tests and site diaries.
• Ensure architectural specifications are met on site.
• Coordinate with contractors and site disciplines for works.
• Inspect architectural scope including waterproofing and QA.
• Assist consultants/Employer in supervision and QA.
• Coordinate site progress with other disciplines; report delays.
• Verify contractor reports, prepare weekly progress lists and defect lists.
• Attend Client Consultants Meetings and site walks as required.
• Ensure site cleanliness, safety and tidiness; raise issues when needed.
• Identify discrepancies and communicate with Architect.
• Undertake other duties as instructed by the Consultant team.
