Job summary

VANRATH is assisting a large Public Sector Organisation in Ballymena, Northern Ireland to recruit a Project Manager - Architectural for 6-12 months with strong likelihood of extension and permanency. The role focuses on leading a diverse team to deliver Minor Works Capital Projects and manage budget lines across the service, with close liaison to DE and other sector bodies.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in PM or related field, professional membership, and substantial experience in

Qualifications

• Degree in Project Management or construction-related discipline; minimum 3 years in PM.
• Corporate membership of RICS/CIOB/ABE/APM/PMI; minimum 2 years in construction-related PM.
• At least five years' paid construction-related PM experience in the last ten years.
• Demonstrable experience making managerial/technical decisions.
• Experience using NEC 4 contracts.
• Experience in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of NI Building Regulations.
• Knowledge of PQQ/ITT procurement and e-tendering processes.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and CDM regulations.
• Hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for a diverse, geographically dispersed team.
• Manage and deliver Minor Works Capital Projects within budget and schedule.
• Contribute to strategy, policy, procedures and processes across the division.
