Job Opportunity: Architectural/Layout/Urban Designer

Successful Architectural Consultancy is seeking an experienced Architectural/Layout/Urban Designer to join their expanding Bristol office.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing first-class service and has built client relationships within the Residential sector. This role involves liaising with various housing builders and developers.

We encourage applications from Layout Designers and Junior, Intermediate, to Senior level Designers (Part I/II/III). The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their experience and grow within our team.

Qualifications and Skills

• Residential design background with an architectural degree or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of current UK planning policy and RIBA Work Stages.
• Ability to work collaboratively on various projects.
• Strong understanding of contextual issues in large areas.
• Experience attending pre-application discussions, planning meetings, and consultations.
• Involvement in all planning stages from initial site appraisals to outline and full planning approvals.
• Passion for residential-led projects.
• Excellent graphic skills, including hand drawings, diagrams, plans, and images using AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, and SketchUp.
