Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd in Exeter is seeking a permanent Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join a growing, respected local practice. The role offers a salary between £30,000 and £38,000 per annum and a full-time, on-site position.

You will work on complex, technically demanding schemes across education, residential, retirement living, care and leisure sectors, supporting design and delivery across all RIBA stages with progression towards Part III qualification.

Qualifications

• RIBA Part II qualified or ARB Newly Qualified Architect.
• Previous UK practice experience.
• Strong design and technical ability.
• Revit experience is essential.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Enthusiastic and proactive approach to professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the delivery of projects across multiple RIBA stages
• Supporting planning applications, technical packages and project coordination
• Producing high quality design, presentation and technical drawing work
• Working collaboratively with Architects, Technologists and external consultants
• Attending client meetings and site visits
• Assisting with technical problem-solving throughout project delivery
