Job summary

Morson Edge are partnering with a leading multidisciplinary consultancy to recruit an ARB/RIBA Part II Architectural Assistant or Architectural Technician for a 6-month contract in Surrey. Hybrid, 40 hours a week, security clearance required, up to £33/hour.

You will contribute to architectural and building design within a highly regulated setting. You should have Part II qualification, 2+ years post-graduate experience, and be actively pursuing Part III.

Qualifications

• ARB/RIBA Part II qualification.
• Minimum 2 years' post-graduate experience.
• Active progress towards ARB/RIBA Part III and registration.
• Experience on complex architectural projects.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Experience in QA-assured design environments.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to delivery of architectural and building design packages.
• Take responsibility for defined architectural work packages.
• Work with limited supervision on complex assignments.
• Produce and coordinate architectural design information.
• Support concept design and feasibility studies.
• Apply professional knowledge to resolve design issues.
• Evaluate alternative design solutions and decisions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Communicate complex technical information clearly.
• Maintain effective working relationships across the project.
• Ensure design work meets QA procedures.
• Contribute to sustainable and innovative design solutions.
• Support design development through the project lifecycle.
