Job summary

Ridge and Partners LLP seeks Part 2 Architectural Assistants to join our Manchester studio. The team delivers a multidisciplinary design approach with focus on manufacturing, defence, security and education sectors.

Ideal candidates will be excellent designers and communicators with a thirst for learning, strong organisational skills, and diligence in all project stages from concept to detail.

Qualifications

• Architecture graduate degree with Part 1 accreditation.
• Architecture postgraduate degree with Part 2 accreditation.
• Ability to design and communicate clearly within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with report writing, diagrams and presentation drawings.
• Develop design proposals that conform to building regulations and standards.
• Apply critical design thinking to evaluate design choices.

Ridge are seeking highly skilled Part 2 Architectural Assistants to join our Manchester studio.

Our architecture team is a core service within our multidisciplinary work environment and a AJ100 architecture practice in our own right. Our workplace is reflective of the quality we demand of ourselves and reflected in our world class design portfolio. Our team expertise and focus lie in nationally important Advanced Manufacturing, Defence and Security and Education projects.

We are collaborative and consultative in our approach, with an emphasis on an integrated multi-disciplinary design philosophy and technical excellence. We pride ourselves in applying these skills when designing and delivering projects to the benefit of excellent architecture and the people it serves.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be an excellent designer and communicator, you should have a thirst for learning and development, whilst demonstrating a high level of diligence and organisational skills.

• Strong graphic (across adobe illustrator, indesign and revit) and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail and rigorous approach to producing precise information.
• Develop design proposals that conform to the latest building regulations and technical standards.
• Providing a practical and methodical approach to solving problems, working within deadlines.
