Overview:
Our client has a career opportunity for a motivated Architectural Assistant to join their award-winning architectural practice. Working across a very broad range of project sectors, they offer both planning and technical specialisms, delivering for their clients from inception to completion. This role is essential for supporting the planning and development of masterplanning schemes across a diverse range of sites, from 10 to 1,000 units. The ideal candidate will be passionate about urban design and eager to contribute to innovative planning solutions that shape vibrant communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of masterplanning schemes, focusing on the planning stages of large-scale urban projects for private developers and housing associations.
• Collaborate with the team to create detailed site analyses and design proposals.
• Prepare planning application documents and support materials as required for project submissions.

Skills and Experience:

• RIBA Part1 or Part2 in Architecture or Urban Planning is preferred.
• Strong understanding of urban design and planning principles.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with CAD software, including AutoCAD and Photoshop and other architectural or urban planning tools.
