Role: Architect/Tech Lead
Contract Length: 6 months

Pay Rate to Intermediary: £450 per day

Spinwell is recruiting for an Architect/Tech Lead for an excellent opportunity within the private sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ARCHITECT/TECH LEAD

• Develop the overall architecture and blueprint for back-office solutions, aligning them with business needs and Workday functionalities.
• Design and manage the integration of Workday with other systems, ensuring data flows smoothly and securely.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.
• Oversee the implementation process, ensuring the project stays on track, within budget, and meets defined objectives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with the project, ensuring a smooth and successful implementation.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of Workday's capabilities and limitations
• Facilitate change management activities related to the implementation of new solutions, ensuring user adoption and minimal disruption to business operations.

  SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE ARCHITECT/TECH LEAD

• 12+ years of experience
• Experience in Java, API Gateway, GCP
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, integration patterns, and technologies relevant to Workday and back-office systems.
• Hands-on experience with Workday implementations, including configuration, data migration, and integration development.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and lead technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and ensure successful project delivery.
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools to effectively manage timelines, resources, and budgets.
