Job summary

Ineffable is seeking an Engineer for Simulated Universes to help craft, shape and maintain environments where superlearners emerge and learn at scale. You will build foundations, collaborate with researchers, and ensure fast, iterative research cycles through tight blueprint-to-build integration.

You will work with physics engines, GPU-accelerated frameworks, and low-level languages to create scalable, reliable worlds that push the frontier of artificial intelligence research.

Qualifications

• Engineer with a passion for creating artificial worlds at scale.
• Experience with large-scale simulations in scientific or game-like environments.
• Ability to turn ambitious research visions into production-ready code.

Responsibilities

• Build the engineering foundations of new environments, designing, implementing and maintaining them as they grow.
• Partner closely with the team creating the blueprints for the worlds to build.
• Close the loop between blueprint and build, enabling fast, iterative research cycles.
• Scale environments up using state-of-the-art hardware and parallelism.
