Job summary

Kier Design in Speke, Liverpool is seeking an Architect to join our design team. You’ll lead on substantial projects, coordinate a multi-disciplinary design process, and supervise contract administration across complex schemes. You’ll mentor colleagues and contribute to national growth of the business.

The role requires Chartered Architect status, strong REVIT/BIM skills, and a track record in design delivery and client relationship management. Some hours flexibility is available.

Qualifications

• Qualified Architect with Chartered status and strong design and detailing skills.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating multi-disciplinary design work.
• Proficient in REVIT and BIM; knowledge of current regulations and RIBA Plan of Work.
• Ability to manage contracts (JCT/NEC) and supervise sites.
• Strong client relationships skills and flexible to support national team needs.

Responsibilities

• Leading on substantial and complex projects, managing and coordinating team members to ensure effective delivery of work programmes
• Participating in the detailed design process, preparing and presenting concept and detailed drawings whilst ensuring quality and co-ordination
• Taking responsibility for the commercial performance of projects under your control, ensuring delivery within agreed cost and budget parameters
• Administering a range of contracts including JCT and NEC suites, undertaking contract administration and site supervision
• Mentoring and coaching fellow team members, contributing to the development and growth of the business nationally
