Job summary

TateHindle is seeking a recently qualified interior-focused architect or experienced Part 2 architectural assistant to join our London team in Shoreditch.

The role involves supporting the project Associate on large-scale commercial projects, from concept design through to construction, with emphasis on office interiors and BIM delivery.

Qualifications

  • Experience in developing office design concepts
  • Proven design and detailing in a 3D BIM environment (Revit)
  • Experience liaising with consultants and project team
  • Understanding of UK planning process and building regulations
  • Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
  • Interest in current trends in commercial/office market

Responsibilities

  • Support the project Associate and team in delivering large-scale commercial projects in central London
  • Assist in design development and moving concepts through to construction
  • Contribute to 3D modelling and detailing in Revit/SketchUp/Enscape
  • Coordinate with consultants and internal stakeholders
  • Attend design reviews and client meetings as required

TateHindle is looking for a recently qualified interior-focused architect/experienced Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.

We are an award-winning architecture and design practice based in Shoreditch. We work with high-profile clients and have completed many interesting and challenging projects across a variety of sectors. Our portfolio ranges from innovative new builds to the sensitive restoration of listed buildings. We create spaces that inspire people to work, learn and create; we establish sustainable communities and design beautiful buildings for everyone to enjoy.

We have a vacancy for an interior-focused architect or experienced Part 2 architectural assistant, with proven commercial experience in both refurbishment and new build projects.

The role will involve supporting the project Associate and the project team in delivering a number of exciting large scale commercial projects in central London.

The ideal candidate will have experience in assisting in the design and development of commercial office projects from concept design through to construction.

In addition to excellent design and communication skills, the successful candidate would have proven Revit experience and Adobe Creative Cloud.

The successful candidate must have:
  • experience in the development of office design concepts
  • proven design and detailing expertise, working directly within a 3D BIM environment with Revit, SketchUp and Enscape experience
  • experience of liaising with other consultants and the wider project team
  • understanding of the planning process in the UK
  • good and current knowledge of UK building regulations
  • excellent time management and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • keen interest in current and emerging trends across the commercial / office market
  • high levels of team spirit with a collaborative and positive approach
