• Work effectively in a team, problem solve, and use their own judgement, think creatively, and work calmly under pressure.

• Use a variety of media in the development and documentation of a design project.

• Support the delivery of projects in collaboration with a project director, ensuring efficient planning and deployment of resources.

• Be an effective communicator, with excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external team members.

• Have excellent organisation and time management skills.

• Develop a real commitment to our studio culture and to act as an ambassador for the practice.

You will be able to demonstrate:

Project design and delivery skills:

• Proven experience of working on the design and delivery of projects, ideally through all RIBA Stages.

• Experience of producing graphic and written technical information of a high standard showing a thorough understanding of the importance of design at all scales.

The ability to successfully collaborate with teams and external bodies:

• Comfortable with working in teams of all sizes, both internal and external.

• Effective management and motivation of junior staff including a commitment to mentor and develop their skills.

• Capable and confident in being able to effectively represent the practice, collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and consultants.

Technical skills:

• An aptitude for technology and an interest in effecting new ways of representation and production, contributing to developing in house and external CPD activities and research.

• Knowledge of current legislation relating to design and construction, including experience of the planning process and knowledge of current building regulations.

• Understanding of contractual issues and practice liabilities.
