Job description

Role: Architect - Data Observability

Location: Leeds (Hybrid)

• Should be well-versed with modern observability tools and standards on both cloud and non-cloud hosting platforms.

• Particularly familiar with Open Telemetry, focusing on how to best ingest and display metrics, logs, and traces.

• Experience in building monitoring solutions for OS (Linux and Windows), Kubernetes, databases, APIs, applications, and microservices.

• Strong design and documentation skills to ensure frameworks can be successfully implemented and supported.

• Ability to communicate and promote the overall observability strategy to a broad audience.

• Capable of technical deep-dives to explain specific requirements.

• Knowledge of Data Observability tools (e.g., ADOC, Monte Carlo).

• Knowledge of Data Governance frameworks and tools (e.g., Collibra, Data Quality solutions, Data Engineering, pipelines).
