Job DescriptionArchitect Job in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

Architect job in Cambridge joining an award-winning practice that, due to recent success has taken on new education, mixed-use, and residential projects - they would also consider experienced Architectural Technologists. Offering a salary of up to £38,000 - £43,000 plus benefits.

The practice is an employee-owned trust that has been established for over 5 decades operating across 2 offices. The Cambridge office is comprised of 40 staff members who work across a broad range of sectors. The team prides itself on its client-focused approach.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Managing projects and the project resources
  • Production of design and technical drawing packages
  • Using Revit daily
  • Working with the team in a collaborative manner
  • Reporting to senior/associate members of staff
  • Meeting with clients/stakeholders/contractors when needed
  • Attending site visits when required.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3 to 5 years post-part III UK experience
  • Demonstrable experience working across all RIBA stages
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential to this role
  • Previous experience working on education, residential, and mixed-use projects
  • Experience working collaboratively with a team to achieve deadlines
  • Good understanding of the UK building regulations
  • Experience communicating with stakeholders, clients, and contractors.
