Job description

We are seeking to recruit an ambitious architect to join our Warwickshire based practice, to aid with the ongoing development of our practice and client base. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Architect to join a practice that cares about our employees and clients, maintaining long lasting relationships, and where the successful candidate will be encouraged to advance their career progression in a senior role.

We are responsive to our client requirements, applying technical expertise and commercial realism across multiple sectors including residential projects from domestic projects to bespoke houses, small estate developments, as well as working on industrial and commercial projects, community facilities, sports clubs, and heritage buildings.

The job holder is expected to provide excellent customer service to new and existing clients. It is essential for the successful candidate to be approachable, knowledgeable, professional, and above all passionate about architecture and the company’s direction.

You will be able to take a project from initial conception to delivery, throughout all the RIBA stages. With experience in job running and as a strong communicator, you will be able to manage projects efficiently, delegating and distributing tasks accordingly.

Candidate Requirements:
  • 5-years PQE with at least 3-years job running experience and managing design teams
  • AutoCAD proficient; knowledge and proficiency in Revit is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience in Contract Administration
  • Ability to produce specifications and manage the tender process.
  • Experience of running design and technical reviews
  • Ability to plan and deal with multiple projects at varying stages
  • Strong knowledge of construction techniques.
  • Excellent understanding of current UK planning and building regulations
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full driving licence and own vehicle is a necessity
