Job Description:

g2 recruitment is working with a reputable architectural practice in Manchester that is looking to expand its team. We are currently seeking an experienced, passionate Architect who is proficient in Revit and has a strong background in delivering high-quality architectural projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking practice, working on a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.

As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in the design process from concept through to completion, collaborating with clients, consultants, and contractors to bring creative ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of architectural designs, ensuring creativity, technical accuracy, and feasibility.
  • Utilise Revit to produce detailed architectural drawings, models, and BIM documentation for projects.
  • Oversee project progress, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is maintained at all stages.
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to refine project designs and resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with UK building regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and resolve any issues.
  • Prepare and deliver client presentations, design reviews, and progress reports.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in architecture and BIM.

What We're Looking For:

  • RIBA/ARB accredited degree in Architecture (or equivalent).
  • At least 3 years post-qualification experience in an architectural practice.
  • Proficiency in Revit (essential), with experience in BIM-based project delivery.
  • Strong understanding of UK building regulations and technical standards.
  • Experience working on a range of projects, including commercial, residential, and mixed-use.
  • Excellent technical drawing and design skills, with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team and clients.
  • A proactive, motivated individual who can take ownership of tasks and contribute to the overall success of the projects.

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with other software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with sustainable design and knowledge of environmental considerations.
  • Previous experience working on large or complex projects would be advantageous.
