HAP Architects is a small practice based in central High Wycombe, a short walk from the train station and town centre amenities. We have been positively contributing to our urban environment for over 40 years and now present this exciting opportunity for an Architect to join our team on a full-time permanent contract. Together we are focused on enriching our communities by designing creative solutions that place people first.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking an Architect with an eye for design and a passion for detail with a minimum 3 years’ UK practice experience. You must be comfortable and experienced at working at all RIBA Work Stages, whilst also being well versed in the application of building regulations and NHBC standards. Having knowledge of the planning policies for Buckinghamshire and surrounding counties would be the icing on the cake!

We value enthusiastic and self-motivated team members and are looking for a confident leader with the ability to plan, prioritise and delegate work to achieve internal milestones and external deadlines. We believe that a collaborative approach is essential in achieving successful design solutions, so you will need to be an excellent communicator and 100% fluent in written and spoken English.

As you would expect, we all need to be confident with technology - BIM software (ArchiCAD is preferable), as well as Adobe Suite (InDesign and Photoshop) and Microsoft Office.
