Job summary

Heathrow is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Architect to design, govern and optimize Commerce Cloud and Order Management solutions. You will collaborate with business and tech teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing platforms that support Heathrow’s retail and service operations.

The role requires hands-on API design, data modelling and integration experience, strong security practices, and the ability to guide senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Architect with expertise in Commerce Cloud and Order Management.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, integration patterns, and security best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with API design, data modelling, and system integrations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions and influence decision-making at senior levels.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and governing the architecture for Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Order Management solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.

Job Description

As a Salesforce Architect, you will join our Digital and Technology team, working closely with business stakeholders, developers, and solution designers to deliver cutting‑edge Salesforce solutions. Your role will focus on architecting and optimising Commerce Cloud and Order Management capabilities to support Heathrow’s retail and service operations. You will define technical standards, ensure best practices, and guide the design of integrated solutions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. Success in this role means delivering secure, scalable, and high‑performing platforms that enable Heathrow to meet its commercial objectives and provide passengers with a seamless digital journey.

Your role will involve

Working Location

Our Hybrid working approach offers the opportunity for colleagues in some roles to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow . Working arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process. You’ll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.
