Architect
Glasgow City Centre

We are currently seeking qualified project architects to join our Glasgow studio. We are an award-winning, employee-owned architectural practice undertaking work across the UK.

As a reuse practice we encourage applications from people with an interest in existing buildings and settings, and sustainable design. This role would involve you working across all stages of architectural projects in culture, placemaking and heritage sectors. An interest in, or experience working in historic settings would be advantageous.

Your role within the studio will include collaborating with senior architects to develop design proposals through to delivery on-site. You will work directly with clients, consultants, and contractors, as part of our experienced team. As an employee-owned business applicants can expect to take part in wider discussions about project opportunities within and the development of the practice.

Candidates must have a RIBA Part 3 qualification, and be ARB registered with demonstrable experience on a range of projects at different stages. Candidates must have experience of working directly with clients, contractors and design teams, in addition to a good l understanding of the design process and of the UK building regulations. Candidates must have working knowledge of construction types, and be skilled in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite applications. Qualifications or demonstrable experience in conservation will be considered favourably.

We provide an excellent package working within a friendly and positive environment including pension, regular CPD, and a supportive framework for personal development. We believe that a healthy work/life balance is important. We offer a generous holiday allowance and flexible approach to working hours.

We seek to recruit, develop and retain talent, and as an equal opportunities employer, actively seek and welcome applications from all sections of our society.
