Job description

Arka is looking for a skilled and motivated ARB registered Architect to join our close knit team and play a key role in delivering a wide variety of exciting projects.

Our current portfolio encompasses a diverse range of projects, including leisure and hospitality with a focus on sports related venues, bespoke high end homes, private and social housing and community based projects. We’re seeking someone eager to actively contribute to these areas, bringing creativity and expertise to every stage of the design and delivery process.

What You’ll Do:

  • Contribute to the design and delivery of high quality architecture across all RIBA stages
  • Prepare and coordinate planning, tender, and construction drawing packages
  • Lead projects confidently, managing the process and guiding clients with clear communication
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, consultants, and clients throughout each project
  • Apply careful attention to detail during design and technical phases

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience across all RIBA Work Stages with a clear drive to see projects through to completion on site
  • Strong design sensibility and visual communication skills
  • Proficiency in technical drawing and detailing
  • Solid knowledge of UK building regulations and planning processes
  • Excellent time management and organisational abilities
  • Software proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with 3D modelling software (desirable but not essential)
