Job description

IT Staff is recruiting Architects to work with a major Irish government agency responsible for managing over 100 State-Owned Heritage Buildings in Ireland. This includes iconic sites such as Dublin Castle, the National Museum of Ireland Collins Barracks, the Four Courts, Custom House, and Rathfarnham Castle.

The projects will involve fit-out, new works, and maintenance in Rosslare

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce AutoCAD drawing packages.
  • Manage the procurement process for projects.
  • Work with a design team and manage on-site works.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of post-graduation experience, including managing projects on-site.
  • Strong design and drawing skills are essential.
  • Conservation experience is desirable, along with a genuine interest in historic structures.

Education & Experience:

  • A relevant postgraduate qualification in building conservation is preferred, and/or two (2) years of the three (3) required years of relevant work experience in the conservation of historic buildings and/or national monuments.

Contract Details:

  • Initial contracts will be for 1 year, with the potential to extend for an additional 2 to 4 years.
  • Positions are based in Rosslare, with hybrid working options available.
  • Full-time, 37-hour workweek (Monday to Friday).
