Job description

Abbey Total Care Group is currently seeking a bright, and experienced Senior Architect/Project Architect to join our high calibre team at our Head Office in Ilford, IG2. The future office location would be IG9, 5QL, Buckhurst Hill.

We are working with an award winning practice with a great mix of projects. This is a unique position for a company that doesn’t hire often due to have a very settled team.

This is a £20m 10,000 sq. m. project in Buckhurst Hill, Forest Place Nursing Home, IG9 5QL.The scope of the project includes 120 bedded unit, Medical Centre, 2 Storey car park, Restaurant, 45 Independent living apartments. So, from this complete project scope, Phase 1 is already completed.

We need you for WILLOW Phase that is estimated 2 years includes 45 extra care units, Medical centre 1000 sq. m , Restaurant 250 sq. m, and 17 car parking space .

Experience and Skills Required:

• You will have minimum 5/6 years post qualification experience UK commercial, residential and mixed-use projects
• Fully proficient Revit skills
• Providing a support to other members of the team in Revit
• In-depth knowledge of technical detailing and UK building control submissions, proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup and other software skills
• Experience of working with Site teams and to develop detailed construction drawings.
• Experience delivering commercial projects from inception through to completion
• Preparing feasibility studies and providing key ideas for masterplans
• Main point of contact for clients and contractors
• Excellent design, organisational and leadership skills
• Understanding of tested, and innovative materials and technologies, making informed decisions on their use and specification.
