Job summary

Sodexo Group in Northern Ireland is seeking an experienced Architect to support estate planning and project delivery across a large, complex portfolio.

Reporting to the Senior Architect/Manager, you will develop estate strategies, site masterplans, feasibility studies and drawings, collaborating with in-house teams and external designers. You should bring ARB registration and a minimum of three years post-qualification experience.

Qualifications

• Degree and postgraduate qualification in Architecture (Diploma or MSc).
• Current registration with the Architects Registration Board (ARB).
• Minimum of 3 years' post qualification experience.
• Working knowledge of Northern Ireland Planning Regulations and processes.
• Working knowledge of Northern Ireland Building Regulations and processes.
• Experience producing architectural drawings, reports and presentations.
• Proficiency in architectural software including Revit (preferred), AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of the client's Estate Strategy and site masterplans.
• Undertake Functional Suitability assessments to inform estate planning.
• Prepare feasibility studies, viability assessments and presentation materials.
• Produce architectural drawings, reports and supporting documentation.
• Contribute to the development of area plans and local masterplans.
• Assist with project blueprints and project dossiers.
• Support the development and updating of design guidance documentation.
• Work with internal teams, clients and external Integrated Design Teams.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, planning requirements, RIBA Plan of Work and Sodexo PM Framework.
• Assess building and site utilisation to support estate planning decisions.

Job Introduction

We are looking for a talented and motivated Architect to join our team and support the delivery of strategic estate planning and architectural projects across a large and complex estate in Northern Ireland.

Reporting to the Senior Architect/Manager, you will contribute to the development of estate strategies, site masterplans, feasibility studies and project blueprints, working alongside in house architectural professionals and external design teams. This is an excellent opportunity for an architect looking to develop their career while working on a diverse portfolio of projects from concept through to delivery.

What you'll do:

What you bring:

Essential

• Willingness to travel throughout Northern Ireland.

Please note: Successful candidates must have lived continuously in the UK for the past five years and must be willing and able to undergo the required security clearance and vetting process.
