Our Archaeology team operates from 6 UK offices, with major centers in Bury St Edmunds and Carlisle, which feature purpose-built facilities for post-excavation services and fieldwork operations. We are seeking a field archaeologist based in Bolton to support our expanding regional projects. Candidates should have at least 3 months of site experience in commercial archaeology; however, graduates and those with equivalent experience and qualifications will also be considered.
Applicants must be flexible regarding travel and working hours, as projects are across the UK. We prioritize local assignments to benefit both archaeological and environmental outcomes. A full driving license and access to a car are required. We offer competitive benefits including subsistence, travel allowance, accommodation, and enhanced pay/TOIL for unsocial hours. Full-time staff are expected to work on-site 3 days a week on a hybrid basis.
