Job summary
Carrington West is seeking an experienced GIS Data Analyst to join a specialist rail infrastructure team. You will work with Esri ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Pro, ensuring data quality and delivering meaningful geospatial outputs for stakeholders.
Location is Birmingham or London, with in-office presence 3 days per week. This permanent role targets candidates with strong ArcGIS hands-on experience and a solid background in GIS data management.
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Pro experience.
- Experience with Portal for ArcGIS and/or ArcGIS Online.
- Proven experience in GIS data management, quality assurance, validation and transformation.
- Good understanding of spatial and non-spatial data formats, GIS databases and coordinate reference systems.
- Experience managing complex geospatial datasets and data workflows.
- Strong understanding of data interoperability and GIS data standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ideally 5+ years of relevant GIS experience.
Responsibilities
- Analyse and manage geospatial datasets across projects.
- Ensure data quality and validation across GIS workflows.
- Collaborate with contractors and delivery teams on ad-hoc requests.
- Support rail infrastructure programme with ArcGIS outputs.
